Last Updated: December 14, 2025

1. Agreement to Terms

By inviting Auditer to your Discord server or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

Auditer is a Discord bot that provides audit logging, verification, moderation, ticketing, and server management features. These terms govern your use of the bot and associated dashboard.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Auditer only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to use Auditer:

  • In any way that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • To harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • To spam, flood, or disrupt Discord servers
  • To collect or store personal data without proper consent
  • To circumvent any security features or access controls
  • For any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • To impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

3. Bot Functionality and Features

3.1 Audit Logging

Auditer logs server events including message edits/deletes, member joins/leaves, role changes, channel modifications, and moderation actions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of audit logging complies with applicable privacy laws.

3.2 Verification System

The verification system requires users to complete a CAPTCHA or other verification method before accessing your server. You acknowledge that no verification system is foolproof and Auditer cannot guarantee complete protection against automated accounts or malicious users.

3.3 Moderation Tools

Moderation features (warnings, kicks, bans, mutes, lockdown) are provided as tools for server management. Server administrators are solely responsible for how these tools are used and any consequences resulting from their use.

3.4 Ticket System

The ticket system enables private support channels between users and server staff. Server administrators are responsible for the content of ticket conversations and ensuring proper handling of support requests.

3.5 Member Vault

Member Vault automatically re-adds users who leave and rejoin your server. This feature requires the "guilds.join" OAuth scope. You are responsible for ensuring your use of this feature complies with Discord's Terms of Service.

4. Data and Privacy

Auditer collects and stores certain data necessary for its operation. Our data practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. By using Auditer, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood our Privacy Policy
  • You consent to the collection and processing of data as described
  • If you are a server administrator, you are responsible for ensuring your server members are aware of data collection
  • You have the necessary rights and permissions to share any data with Auditer

5. Service Availability and Modifications

Auditer is provided "as is" without any guarantees of uptime or availability. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
  • Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the service
  • Update or change these Terms of Service with or without notice
  • Remove the bot from servers that violate these terms

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes, but continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Auditer and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by the developers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUDITER AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Actions or content of third parties using the service
  • Any other matter relating to the service

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Auditer and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any content or data you provide through the service

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Auditer immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Breach of these Terms of Service
  • Violation of Discord's Terms of Service
  • Harmful or abusive behavior
  • Requests from law enforcement or legal authorities

You may stop using Auditer at any time by removing the bot from your server. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

10. Discord Terms of Service

Auditer operates on the Discord platform and is subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You agree to comply with all Discord policies when using Auditer. In the event of any conflict between these terms and Discord's terms, Discord's terms shall prevail.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Auditer shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or the appropriate courts in our jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Material changes will be notified through our website or Discord server. Your continued use of Auditer after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Auditer regarding the use of our service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
