Applications

/apply command reference

Every option for the /apply slash command and how to use them.

The /apply command is the primary way members start an application. It is also how they cancel an in-progress draft.

/apply start#

text
/apply start [application]
application
Optional. Autocompletes from the list of open applications. If omitted and only one is open, it starts directly. If multiple are open, an ephemeral picker appears.

Behavior:

  • If the user is on cooldown, blocked by restricted roles, or missing required roles, the command tells them why and exits.
  • On success, the bot DMs the user the confirmation embed. They click Start to begin answering.
  • If the user has DMs closed, the command returns an error asking them to open DMs from this server.

/apply cancel#

text
/apply cancel

Cancels the user's in-progress application. The draft is wiped and any "pending" roles are removed. Does nothing if there is no active draft.
