Getting started

Inviting the bot

OAuth scopes, why each is needed, and how to grant the right permissions.

Click "Login with Discord" in the top-right of the dashboard, sign in with the Discord account that owns the server, and choose your server from the picker.

Required permissions#

Auditer asks for Administrator. This is because moderation, role assignment, channel restoration, anti-nuke responses, and snapshot rollback all require elevated privileges. If you would rather grant a narrower set, you can manually invite with only the flags below — but features that need more will silently fail.

View Audit Log
Required for everything. Without this Auditer cannot read any events.
Manage Channels
Snapshot rollback, channel-level moderation, ticket creation.
Manage Roles
Reaction roles, anti-nuke strip-roles response, snapshot role recreation.
Ban Members
/ban command, anti-nuke ban response.
Kick Members
/kick command, anti-nuke kick response.
Moderate Members
/timeout, /untimeout commands.
Manage Messages
/purge, word blocklist deletions.
Send Messages
Posting log entries, welcome cards, reaction role panels.
Role hierarchy

After inviting the bot, drag the Auditer role ABOVE any role it needs to manage. The bot cannot assign or remove roles positioned higher than its own role.
