Creating a watcher
Point Auditer at an account and pick an alert channel.
Two ways to create a watcher: through the dashboard or with the /social add slash command.
Dashboard#
- Go to auditer.wtf/dashboard/[your-guild]/social
- Click "New watcher"
- Pick a platform
- Enter the handle (see per-platform reference below)
- Choose the Discord channel where alerts will land
- Click Create. The editor opens automatically for further customization.
Slash command#
discord/social add platform:YouTube handle:@GoogleDevelopers channel:#alerts message:{author} just uploaded!
Handle formats#
YouTube
Channel ID starting with UC..., or an @handle like @GoogleDevelopers.
Twitch
Login username (no @), e.g. shroud.
Kick
Channel slug, e.g. trainwreckstv.
Reddit
Subreddit name (no r/), or "u/username" for user posts.
Bluesky
Full handle including domain, e.g. jay.bsky.team.
RSS / Podcast
Full https URL to the feed.
Instagram
The IG business account ID configured in credentials. The handle field is display-only.
