Getting started
Running /setup
The first-run wizard that wires log channels and default events.
Once Auditer is in your server, run /setup as an administrator. The wizard walks you through choosing log channels for each event category.
Log categories#
Messages
Deletes, edits, bulk deletes, pins, unpins.
Members
Joins, leaves, role changes, nickname changes, timeouts, ban/unban.
Server
Channel create/update/delete, role create/update/delete, guild settings.
Voice
Joins, leaves, moves between channels, mute/deafen state.
Moderation
Bans, unbans, kicks, warnings, mod actions.
Each category routes its events to its own channel. Leave any category unset to disable that channel of logging entirely. After setup runs, the dashboard shows your full config under Configuration.
Verifying setup#
Trigger a small action (rename a channel, kick a test account) and check the corresponding log channel. If the entry shows up, you are good. If not, double-check the bot has View Audit Log permission and that its role can see the channel.
