Long text
Multi-line text reply. Best for explanations, essay-style answers, application statements. Same validation options as Text.

Multiple choice
Pick one or more options from a dropdown. Best for skills lists, availability, languages spoken.
Number
Numeric reply. Supports min and max value validation. Best for age, hours of experience, count-of-something questions.
Date
Date reply. Accepts ISO 8601 (2026-05-04), natural ("May 4 2026"), or any string Date can parse. Renders back to staff as a Discord timestamp.
URL
A valid http:// or https:// URL. Useful for portfolio links, server invites, social media handles.
Yes/No
Two buttons: Yes and No. Faster than choice for binary questions ("Have you read the rules?", "Are you 18+?").
User pick
Discord user select. Useful for "Who referred you?" or "Which staff member do you want to mention?". Stores the user ID.
Channel pick
Discord channel select. Useful for "Where did you hear about this server?" or asking applicants to point at a specific channel.
See the Validation rules article. Regex on text, min/max on numbers, and required toggles let you reject bad answers before they reach staff.
